Palm Sunday by Dennis Natividad · 365 Project.

Palaspas (Palm Frond) is done on Palm Sunday, where the commemorative procession of Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem passes through four makeshift platforms, representing the four gates of the Holy City. Children dressed in white welcome the faithful who are waving palm fronds by throwing bougainvillea or kalachuchi (temple flower) petals while singing the traditional Latin Palm Sunday Antiphon “Hosanna Filio David” (Hosanna to the Son of David) accompanied by a live brass band.
