Binibini Queens Joanna and Nichole Send Off by Dennis Natividad · 365 Project

Two more Binibinis are vying for international titles this year and both are optimistic about bringing home the crown for the Philippines.

In a warm and exclusive gathering, the Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc., held a press conference at the Versailles Tent of Novotel Manila Araneta Center to officially send-off the lovely Binibining Pilipinas Queens who will represent our country in two international pageant abroad.

The event gathered members of the press, as well as some invited families and friends of the queens, who all expressed their well wishes to the ladies. It was also an opportune time to welcome back Miss Grand International 2016 1st Runner Up Nicole Cordoves.

Miss Philippines Globe 2016 Nichole Manalo, who was a nurse by profession prior to her reign will vie for the Miss Globe crown on November 25 at Tirana, Albania. She hopes to duplicate the feat of Miss Globe 2015 Ann Lorraine Colis and be given the opportunity to push for universal access to quality health care.

On the other hand, Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2016 Joanna Eden whose advocacy is focused on helping children in need, will represent the country in the 8th edition of Miss Supranational on December 2. The final event will be held at the Spa Resort of Krynica-Zdroj in Poland. Joanna aims to snag the title that was first won by Mutya Johanna Datul in 2013.

Joanna and Nichole received words of encouragement from BPCI chairperson Ms. Stella Marquez Araneta and other Bb. Pilipinas 2016 winners, Miss Universe Philippines 2016 Maria Mika Maxine Medina, Miss Grand International 2016 1st Runner Up Nicole Cordoves, Bb. Pilipinas 2016 1st Runner Angelica Alita and Bb.
